Aaliyah Fisher, is a pioneering fashion designer and creator of Grafetti. At the age of only 16 years old, she is already ahead of most. She not only designs she also sews. Her love of fashion began at an early age, she has always loved clothes and accessories.
Born in Dumas Arkansas,Aaliyah's fashion sense was apparent when she was very young. She always liked her shoes to match her outfits, or hairbows to match her clothes. She always made it a point to look "stylish".
Aaliyah's love for sewing is heriditary; she was always around her great grandmother, who sewed and made blankets for family members and friends. Fisher took an interest in the sewing machine when she was very young. She started taking sewing classes, and the magic began. She would always draw out designs and wanted to learn how to make them come to life. She explains the feeling that she gets when she is actually able to see her designs on models is a feeling like no other.
Fisher launched her line with Brandon Campbell founder of LRFW at the Midsouth Summit Black Expo. She also participated Izsomie Fashion Show, founded by Theresa Baker, Little Rock Fashion week founded by Brandon Campbell, Runway Revealed Fashion Show, Midsouth Fashion Week founded by Jacquelyn Thomas, Designer's Choice Fashion Preview founded by Theresa Timmons and New York Fashion Week. She made history as the youngest designer to ever showcase in Fashion Week history.
Aaliyah likes to design clothes for children and teens. Her designs can be described as feminine and funky. Her goal is to one day have her line in stores and open her own boutique. She likes to design unique and custom designs.
She quotes "Everybody might not wanna look like everybody else" She loves Vintage and floral prints. Throughout her collection you will see a lot of different, unique, classy, & creative designs. Aaliyah's goal is to attend design school in New York and design clothes for celebrities.
